My Favourite Granola Bars




1 1/2 cups of oats

2 ripe bananas

2 tbsp. of chia seeds (optional)

1/4 of shredded coconut (unsweetened)

1 tsp. of cinnamon

1/8 cup of raisins

=> toppings: almonds, peanuts ….


1/4 cup of semisweet or white chocolate chips (optional)*




Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl mash up the bananas with a fork.

After that mix everything together and form your granola bars with any cookie cutters you have on hand. The mixture should not stick to your hand. If so just ad more oats.

Next place them a couple inches apart on your lined baking sheet.

Sprinkle the almonds, peanuts and some more cinnamon on top and bake for about 8 – 10 minutes.

Allow them to cool completely and store them in an airtight container. You can bring them to work or just eat them as a snack. They are my absolute fave snack! Enjoy!
