1/2 cup of ground hazelnuts*
1/8 cup of ground cashews*
1 tsp of almond milk, coconut milk or rice milk
2 tsp of cashew butter or almond butter
1 tsp of coconut oil
2 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 – 1 tsp of rice syrup (or agave nectar, maple syrup..)
Pinch of salt
*Make it yourself by pulsing cashews or hazelnuts in a blender until the consistency of flour.
- Put eyerything in a blender and blend until smooth. If you like, you can add more milk of your choice and you can also add more ground nuts, if it’s too thin. You can make it sweeted by adding more sweetener. Try it!! 🙂
=> You can make a bigger amount of the spread. I created the recipe for about two servings. Store in the fridge or just eat it all up right after you made it – like me :)) It’s so simple and easy to make.
=> I love to eat the chocolate-hazelnut spread with apple slices but you can eat it with any other kind of fruit too! That’s the perfekt after work out snack – you can also eat it as dessert.
You can also spread it on a wholegrain toast or glutenfree toast or what you have on hand.
